Sharon Beazley
To the attorneys working on this class action lawsuit, Sharon Beazley was not only our client, but also our mentor and friend. She brought together the legal team and introduced us to the community and its leaders. There would not be a Sparrows Point legal action if it had not been for the wise judgment, generous personality, and dogged perseverance of Sharon Beazley. We each made a promise to her that we would continue on with the work she had so ably started. We are fulfilling Sharon’s vision of justice for her community through this lawsuit.
Sharon Beazley’s goal, as she often spoke of it, was to “protect the health and well-being” of her people. In that spirit, we dedicate this website and this lawsuit to fulfilling the goals of defense and protection of the health and well-being of all of the community members residing in Turners Station, Greater Dundalk, Edgemere, Fort Howard, Sparrows Point, and Northern Anne Arundel County.
We pledge to carry on Sharon's work.
